Silver

Authentic silver items usually stamped 925, 950, 965, 999, 999 Fine, or Fine Silver, Sterling, or Sterl. "Weighted" Sterling Silver items such as knives, serving pieces, and salt & pepper shakers mean the insides are hollow and filled with a base metal or pewter. We will call or e-mail you regarding the value of these items after we determine their content.

Gold

Yellow and white are the most common gold colors. Gold can also be in a rose (pinkish color) or green color such as Black Hills Gold. Most gold jewelry are stamped with a karat level such as: 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k or 24k. If an item is not stamped, don’t worry! We test each individual item and will contact you with the gold content and payout.

Platinum

Platinum is a white color metal similar to that of white gold. Platinum jewelry will be stamped 950, Plat950, Platinum, PT950, PLAT, 5%Irid.-Plat, 10%Irid.-Plat, or Iridium Platinum.

If you are not sure whether your jewelry is platinum or white gold, don’t worry we will test your items to determine the correct metal content and we will pay you accordingly!
